NELSON Environmental Remediation is excited to be a part of the the 2018 Remediation Technologies Symposium located at the Fairmont Banff Springs!
Join us on October 10 to 12 for the three day event with keynote speakers, networking, and a chance to enhance your knowledge in soil remediation. NELSON is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s RemTech, along with several other organizations.
The keynote speakers this year are Jonathan Gee from Environment and Climate Change Canada speaking on the “Randle Reef Contaminated Sediment Remediation Project in Hamilton Harbour, Ontario”; Brian Skerry, a National Geographic photojournalist speaking on “Luminous Seas”; and Bill Weir, storyteller and host of CNN’s the Wonder List who will be giving a presentation on the “Secrets and Stories of the Happiest, Healthiest People on Earth”.
In addition, several case-studies and presentations will be covered throughout the three-day technical program including topics on ex-situ treatment methods, biological treatments, electrochemical remediation, phytoremediation, and more! A great learning opportunity for professionals to gain knowledge in a wide spectrum of topics relating to soil remediation.
The first day of the event will conclude with a casino night with door prizes, entertainment, food, and more. On the second day, a tailgate party will be hosted for delegates to wear their favourite jersey and be entered to win more door prizes.
It is highly encouraged for professionals from all industries (including but not limited to engineers, pipeline professionals, oil and gas professionals, mining companies, land developers and more) who have an interest in remediation of contaminated sites to attend RemTech.
Our team will be in attendance including one of our directors, John Tucker. Stop by booth #33 in the exhibitor hall to say hi!
